The Libya Revolution was an uprising in the North African unprejudiced that started in early 2011 (15th February) to the day Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi was killed on 20th October 2011. The uprising was sparked by a series of like uprisings in Tunisia and Egypt that disposed of the leaders of those countries Ben Ali and Hosni Mubarak respectively. The conflict start with hearty protests by Libyans but later exploded into an all out civil war between Muammar Gaddafi and forces loyal to him against the local militia that were fighting to remove him from origin and get rid of what they boundary his oppressive regime.
